The Eli Tebbe Benefit hunt, silent auction and meal was held Sat., Nov. 1st. We had a great turnout for this event. This was a great help to Eli and illustrated that our Brotherhood of hound hunters looks out for each other. I know Eli is very much appreciative for each and every one of you that helped in any way. I won't even try to name everyone that brought food. You will be rewarded along the way through life for your kindness. I will name Sue Stege for making the chile and the Preston, IA. locker plant where Eli's mother works for providing the ham. Also my sidekick Baily took it on himself to make two pies. I should have utilized a food sign in sheet in order that I could have given more name recognition. My fault! A grand total of $2500.00 was raised at this event for Eli. Not a penny went to anyone for expenses. Once again - Thank You!!!

Thanks to everyone that entered a dog in the nite hunt. There were no trophies given. All proceeds went to Eli. The wind was in the East and no dew was on the ground. Despite that, we had continuous running somewhere for the entire event. Scores were hard to get for whatever reasons. I hope that each and every one of you got to see or hear your hound in a chase. We had some ties, but here is the top ten:
1. Baily's Comet owned by Baily Queckboerner (world famous pie maker)
2. Bing owned by Kody Trawicki (Shark Bait's older brother)
3. Gabby owned by Karl Trawicki (Shark Bait's father and War Departments hubby)
