At Stud
Gordee's 'Ol Dan is 8 years of age. He won't be around forever. He is a top notch track hound and deer proof. He has a great mouth and steady as they come. There isn't much not to like about this old hound. I don't run him a lot now, but will show him in the enclosure to your satisfaction. In his only litter sired are several good hounds and one exceptional hound. ( We now have another litter by Dan on the ground. They will be ready for training this summer) If you have a good gyp, consider a mating to 'Ol Dan!
Fee: $150.00
General Pen Fees & Rules
A $25.00 annual membership fee is required to utilize our enclosure. This fee offsets the cost of our liability insurance. Dogs must be signed in before they are released. Everyone that enters the enclosure must sign an accident waiver release form. This is a one time signing requirement that will be kept on file. The fee for running your dog at the Ridge is $7.00 per dog, per visit. To ensure maximum avaiability to all, there is a $25.00 minimum per visit charge. Due to demand for running time, we cannot guarantee that you have the enclosure to yourself unless you book a $75.00 minimum visit. As a courtesy to everyone, please call to cancel if for any reason you have reserved and cannot make it.
General Rules
No kill dogs allowed
No littering
No trucks beyond camp
Respect the crops during the growing season
Do Not disturb game that has taken refuge! Catch your dog and find another.
Use the cabin, however please leave it in the condition you found it.
If you are running a dog that MAY be aggresive, I have muzzles available. The dogs readily adapt to them and can drink wearing them. Please adhere to this. It is for everyone's good. Dead game cannot run! It will also spell the demise of pens in WI. If you enjoy having this privilege, man up and keep the game safe. One aggressive dog will make heroes out of several.
I prefer grown hounds be run at night. It is better for the hound and better for our game. I will make exceptions for non aggressive dogs. Please be straight up with me about your hounds.
